Handing over my projects

My Piper archer II plane, Bowler Wildcat and Land Rover Defender projects are being handed over to Caleb Lucas (aka. Mr X) to complete because I am tiring of the general RoR community not caring about my work now that I am banned from the forums.
I find that I am straying from Rigs of Rods but when the radio show is back up again I will always keep at least a section related to RoR.

My New Computer

Well everyone, I have just recieved my new Isys Elite Pro and it is brilliant!
Now that I have a new computer I can finally start making my Bowler Nemesis or Wildcat for RoR. First though, I have a LOT of gaming to catch up on!

My computer is in full working order and I can do the game-playing necessary to make a game-based podcast.
ShoutCAST is so difficult to work, it took two weeks to get it to load under Vista and my router sucks.

Revealed: My crazy 2007.

Well, a lot has happened in 2007, and you need to be updated about it.

Due to a dispute over the size of RoRadio, all of the episodes were deleted from the repository and I was banned from the forums.
Because of this, I wasn't able to inform you about how my Piper Archer II was going. The answer was yes, it was going well. Then my computer had the electrical equivalent of a stroke and developed alzheimer's disease.
After 11 hours of surgery from my friend's dad who is a computer engineer, it worked! Unfortunately due to the fact that most of the components were fried, it would never run games again... :'(

So here I am, on my computer that hasn't done anything fun in over a quarter of a year. Luckily all of my data was saved so I still have all of my RoR creations!

Just recently, I really wanted Rigs of Rods back so I could just drive around randomly and do something that wasn't on my ancient PlayStation 1. Of course, Rigs of Rods would never work on this piece of scrap so instead I became rater creative. At first I tried to build a laser out of a DVD burner, but that still didn't take my mind off RoR. I started planning new vehicles and plotting them on paper, I also thought of new vehicles for my Garry's mod Klayking's Vehicles for Advanced Duplicator pack.
So far I have decided that I want to make a Bowler Wildcat and/or Nemesis for RoR, as the Wildcat is probably one of the most famous Dakar racers, and the Nemesis (The replacement) Is without a doubt the best offroad racer you could find.
Don't worry though, I will still try to complete my Piper Archer II as well. :)

Also, RoRadio may be making a return, either live or as episodes, I'm not sure yet. If it is live I will probably use SHOUTcast to stream it, otherwise, there will either be podcasts on iTunes or .mp3 files uploaded on www.filefront.com

So, £100 stands between me and my new computer, and me getting my new computer stands between you and all of my awesome planned vehicles! :D

P.S. I forgot to mention that administration of the Truckingsim forums has been handed over to me. I am thinking of turning it into a new RoRadio forum but for now I am leaving it half changed until I have got all of my other projects completed... :P

Hello all!

This is the new Rigs of Rods radio (RoRadio) blog, here announcements will be made in relation to the show.

Due to certain circumstances, the radio show has not been on air for a while, but it will be back some time during the new year. As well as acquiring new software to do the show with, I may have found a way to stream it live over the internet. If the show does not become live, I will try to turn it into a podcast as well as releasing .mp3 files.

What is RoRadio?
If you are not one of our existing fans you can find out about the show and the magnificent game that provides us with something to talk about, just read on!
RoRadio is (or was) a half hourly chat show released once a week that was centered around the freely downloadable physics engine/trucking game Rigs of Rods.
Also known as RoR, the game has an immense amount of things to do and has got to be one of the best free driving games around! To find out more about Rigs of Rods visit: Rigs of Rods
